Your external hard drive reported one UDMA CRC Error which is usually caused by a bad cable or connection. The Kingston SSD appears to be much slower than the SanDisk SSD (they should be fairly similar) which may also indicate a problem (might be due to the SSD being full). I know SandForce has a v6.1 firmware for SSDs which use the SandForce controller, but I don't know whether Kingston provides the v6.1 firmware (your SSD is at v5.8). The Kingston SSD appears Ok except it went above the Recommended Maximum Temperature of 70C (it reach 74C) although the Maximum Limit is 85C. Sometimes it is possible to correct issues with SSDs by resetting the SSD to factory defaults by utilizing the SSD's built-in hardware secure erase feature which is only accessible using a Linux boot disk & utility (it completely erases & resets the SSD destroying all data on it). The health report for the SanDisk SSD does have an anomaly in it which may indicate a problem with the SanDisk SSD unless the health reporting was implemented incorrectly. It appears the SanDisk SSD is your boot drive. I'm not familiar with the other software installed so maybe another more knowledgeable contributor will know whether those other apps are known to cause problems (audio apps and VPN). While Avast & CMM don't appear to be running at the moment and should not be causing a problem, the files for their apps are still installed on your Mac so they were not properly or fully uninstalled. Give EtreCheck "Full Disk Access" so that the summary of the recent logs are included in the report which may contain important clues. If you have uninstalled Avast and CMM, then run EtreCheck again and post the new report here so we can see what else might be going on. If there are any unfixed errors listed for any drive, then you will need to erase the whole physical drive and restore the contents from a backup (even if it is a just a data drive). ![]() Even if First Aid says everything is "Ok" click "Show Details" and manually scroll back through the report to see if there are any unfixed errors listed. Within Disk Utility you may need to click "View" and select "Show All Devices" so that the hidden Container appears on the left pane of Disk Utility.
